Race for Education will be PBE’s main fundraising effort for 2011/2012 and will be
held throughout the day on 10/20/11.
Upcoming dates:
10/20/11 – Walk/Jog date, please refer to the pink sheet to see your children’s walk time and send them in tennis shoes!

What is Race for Education?
• Race for Education is an annual walk-a-thon,
which involves students walking and/or jogging
around the Walking Track for an hour.
• The success of Race for Education is based on
students bringing in the names of people who are
potential sponsors for the walk-a-thon.
What’s to love about the Race?
• Everyone at Prettyboy can participate to help raise
money for the needs of our children. The kids will
be so excited about the incentives, including the
grand prize of having a Saturday lunch and hay
maze visit with Mrs. Truesdell and Mrs. Cascio.
• It is a proven program that has the potential to
raise A LOT of money for PBE!

| Donate Direct |

The Prettyboy PTA is continuing the Donate Direct program for the 2011-2012 school year. This is a fundraising program where 100% of your donation goes to the PBE PTA, and your donation is 100% tax deductible. We welcome donations of any size and hope all families will choose to contribute at a level that is comfortable. For more information you may contact Allison Seitz at abseitz@zomabra.com

| Innisbrook Wraps |

Wrapping paper and gift items will once again be available for purchase this year. Look for your catalog to come home with your student on September 7th, and the deadline for ordering is September 30th. Please remember the PTA receives 50% profit on all items. Online ordering is also available at www.innisbrook.com making it easy for friends and family to place orders and support our sale! Their order will come directly to them, plus they can order year-round.

Pick up dates for the 2011-2012 school year are:
October 5 (order deadline is 9/29/11)
November 2 (order deadline is 10/27/11)
November 30 (order deadline is 11/22/11)
January 11 (order deadline is 1/5/12)
February 8 (order deadline is 2/2/12)
March 7 (order deadline is 3/1/12)
April 11 (order deadline is 4/5/12)
May 9 (order deadline is 5/3/12)
June 6 (order dealine is 5/31/12)
Pick up days are Wednesdays, from 6:30-7:30 pm in the cafeteria. Please mark your calendars. Help is needed to unload boxes and sort the food from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. If you can volunteer an hour of your time, please contact Misty Hough at 410-357-0619 or mistylhough@aol.com. Visit www.marketday.com to place your orders, Prettyboy's account number is 9448. Payment can be made at the time of pick up with cash, check or Independence Cards/food stamps. Visa and MasterCard pre-paid orders are accepted online only. If you know you will not be available to pick up your order, please consider paying online with a credit card and contact me to make arrangements for pick up.
